COMMITTEE DATE DESCRIPTION
Assemblies plan one season ahead Work with principal to choose and secure assemblies for our children.  The time commitment is a few meetings throughout the 2007 - 2008 school year.
"As Needed" All year Sometimes people prefer to volunteer on an as needed basis meaning rather than choosing a certain committee in which to help they can be called upon when ever a committee is short handed (i.e. book fair, spring carnival). The PTO President would be responsible for keeping track of the names and making lists available to chair people. Time commitment will vary for the volunteers based on which committees need them.
Art Goes To School February Co-Chairs and Volunteers are given a "lesson" on the pieces of art work to be shown to the children in the school and then they do a presentation to the classrooms. Meetings are held from Oct. to Jan., 2 hours each month. Approximate time commitment is several hours over the course of the lessons and about 40 minutes per presentation.  Each volunteer can give up to four classroom presentations.
