Welcome to the Stony Creek PTO official website.  This site is an easy way for you to stay connected and get involved with your child’s elementary school experience.  The PTO organizes many events within the Stony Creek community such as Family Fun Nights, Spring Carnival, Book Fair and more.  We welcome and encourage all parents and guardians to become involved in the many committees that help to make our school run smoothly, and create a fun and safe learning environment for our children.

One of our primary activities is to fundraise such that we are able to provide enhancements in the way of physical improvements and programming for the students.  In 2006, funds from the PTO were used to purchase new carpets that were placed in K-5 and special area classrooms.  The Stony Creek PTO was also instrumental in obtaining and installing new kindergarten and recess playgrounds as well as a cool rock wall for the school gym!  In late 2007, PTO funds will be used to install a new sign in front of Stony Creek which will enable us to promote school activities and information.

These are just a few examples of how the PTO enhanced our children’s educational experience at Stony Creek.  We are a volunteer based organization and our success is only possible with your help.  Come to a meeting!  Get involved!  Any and all time contributed is greatly appreciated.
